I was wanting to go to Tara, but early Teal season wouldn't allowed an all day reservation. Chose Travis. 
Got a lot of dinks with a few crappie tossed in that will be some good eating. 
 

Water conditions: vis good (for Travis) at 18”. Temp early 77 late 85. Lake 4’ low.  
There was lots of schooling against the shoreline and extreme shallow water areas. Neat to see but they were mostly dinks with a few 14”ers nearby

Around 9am I had a couple 14”ers and then landed a 3lb 8oz 

around 11am was tossing a trap south side dam area and landed the 6lb 5oz

After lunch lost an easy 4lb plus

6:30pm landed the 4lb 13oz. 
 

Lots of forage. At crossroads of culling. Many more to cull and this lake average size will go up. There are plenty of feisty fish 14-17” in this lake, but culling still important. 
Great day overall, clearly my best at Travis.
