Hit the water at Dawn and caught a few right off the bat using ChatterBait, rattletrap and craws. All of them were shallow coming in to hit whatever they could find to eat.  Missed a couple of good ones including a break off at the boat that would have been in the 4.5 lb- 5 lb range. Struggled to find them again for a couple hours but figured out a pattern by concentrating on the deeper edges of the channel with TX rig craw and other plastics. Caught fish all the way up until noon and left. Wound up with 28 total fish and an unusually high number of culls for this property (6 under 14”) the rest were healthy and in the 2 to 3 pound range. Best fish was 4.13 – had the opportunity to meet another PWF member (Brian B.) who fished bremmond with similar success. We shared intel on both spots and other PWF lakes in the Austin area. All in all, It was a great summer morning and a lot of fun as usual.
