Friend and I fished 3 1/2 hours afternoon of 8/18/12. Water down 12” or so. Intermittent cloud cover, 90 degrees, slight breeze. Have fished this lake (East Lake) numerous times and had great luck every time. Not today….......each of us caught one fish around 2 lbs. Fished hard and the entire lake. Only thing I could figure is a bad case of lockjaw!! Threw the entire tacklebox at them. Got off the lake at 4:30….....they probably started biting at 5:00. Will go back.
