Lures Used : Frog, trick worm, spinner bait was the bait
We arrived with storms all around us and we thought we were going to blessed with cloudy skies and wind blowing some current. However, we could see it all early morning in the distance but had blue bird skies and it was hot for the trip all day. The water clarity was muddy with most of the bass caught on the overhanging trees opposite of where you put in. We picked a few off throughout the day around the lake covering water. However, nothing like the 45 minutes (10 caught) under them trees with a red spinner bait. We tried lots of other lures throughout the day with little to no success other then the trick worm produced 5 all day. 10 bass were returned and we culled 5.
Thanks again to the land owner and PWF for a great property!

Markus,
Thanks for the report. Kickapoo has come a long way from the early years. 10 years ago catching anything over 1 lb was difficult. Harvesting the little ones changed this lake.
