Had an errand up in Durant and stopped by Culpepper for an afternoon trip. Front coming in and forecast for ONLY 90 degrees and clouds, so took a chance. Very nice property and 25 min from Choctaw for lunch or dinner buffet. Launched the boat and found a steady streaming leak. Was able to plug hole with a large goose quill which were plentiful at the launch. Another tiny leak was not an issue. Water was 91 degrees and minimal weeds. Caught 3 bluegill on crankbaits, several bass blowups on topwater without hookup. Orange or green senko was steady. The bass are jumpers and pull pretty good- lost 4 that lept and threw the hook, one prob 3+.. Biggest fish to the boat on jerkbait. Everything was close to the bank not much structure to fish.
