We fished the morning of the 12th. Caught two around 5 lbs right at the dock. We picked up a few small ones and harvested 6 under 14”. We decided to try the smaller lake. Well it was a good idea cause we hit into 6 more all around 5 lbs. plus a few 2 lbs.  The weather was fantastic. We caught most on gold head chatter bait- with lake fork trailers. The rest on watermelon lizards.
