Took advantage of a day that wasn’t under a heat advisory and fished the evening at Blue Rock.  Started later than I planned but storms kept me pinned in the car, and wasn’t on the water until 4.  Caught 19 for the day, 4 culls and largest was 3lbs.   Similar to other reports at other lakes, clear thermocline at 15ft and a lot of activity in the 10-13ft range.  Not sure if they were shad or bluegill but no luck catching anything suspended.  All my fish came at or around the weedline and I stuck with a TRIG and underspin.  The 7 – 8pm bite window was on fire and I now need to restock my soft plastic supply.  A couple fish had some sores around the head or under the chin and not sure if that is from the snails I have read on other posts.  I sent the image to Eric and curious if anyone has any input.
