My three-year old and I had a lot of fun at Nix ranch.  We arrived about 6:25am and left about 11:15am.

He caught brim/tilapia as quick as he could get his bait in the water (we threw them all back).  I caught all three bass on a brush hog; kept the two short fish under 14” (ate both for lunch) and threw the three pounder back (about 15.5 inches).  Also caught brim on a whopper plopper and small crank bait.  The owner came by, great guy. This is a great place for young kids.  We banked fished the entire time due to wind. In case the wind died down, I flipped the boat; it had a large black widow and a number of wood spiders.  I left the boat flipped until we left. Didn't see the spiders when I flipped it back over.
