My goal coming back to Post oak Lake less than a week after my last trip was to land the big bass that I jumped and lost last time.  Fail.  Never saw her.  But, I had a fun topwater bite ( 5 bass) followed by a squarebill bite (8 bass), a short underspin bite (2 bass), and finally a soft plastic bite (7 bass).  I tried multiple lure types during each pattern but the bass were narrowly focused on one lure at a time.  That said, most of the topwater was near the dam, the crankbait bite was near the stumps in 5 ft of water, and the soft plastic bite was in the “moss” next to shoreline grass.  22 total in 5 hours with only two harvested.  Most were 2 ½ # and the largest were 4#. Beautiful morning catching bass in solitude!
