I hit the Bluffs at Sandy Shores yesterday with one of the guys I work with.  It was a hot and still morning.  We fished for 4 hours total, from about 7:45am to almost Noon.  The bite was steady and solid.  We caught numerous 3 to 5 pounders on topwater, both on Frogs and on Buzzbaits.  About 9:30am I was prepared to move to other reaction baits, like Spinnerbaits and Chatterbaits like I had the week before, but a slight breeze came up and with the added ripple I decided to stick wiht the Buzzbait and see if we could keep that bite going and we did all the way til around 11am.  We then swtiched to fishing the Flush around the grass.  During a 30 minute period before we had to quit we caught 12 Bass doing this with my buddy catching his PB, a 6.78.  It was also during this bite that we caught the 3 dinks.

Bass catch by Bait breakdown:

Bobby’s Perfect Frog, Black Moss – 3, largest 3 ½  lbs.

Vega Frog, Ivory White – 6, largest 5 ½ lbs.

True South Buzzbait, White – 6, largest 4 ½ lbs

Megasbass Buzzbait, White/Chartruese – 7, largest 5 lbs.

Flush, Gizzard Shad – 12, largest 6.78 lbs.
