We arrived at Azalea Ranch around 11 with clear almost blue bird skies that changed to very little but partly cloudy throughout the evening. Air temps in the 80’s to low 90’s. Water clarity was well over 6’ and the grass was not to bad to fish.

We started off strong culling this lake and it did not stop. 110 dinks culled and 7 overs around 15”-18” and PWF member Cody Hill pulled in a nice 22.5” 6.5 lbs bass shown below.

Most of the bass were caught using the sinko, followe up by the craw and finally the swimbait was the top baits and all Texas rigged just leaving it there and forgetting that your fishing, come back throw a twitch in there and get ready. Thats how slow we were catching them off the bottom, but it was consistent.

The boat we could not get to work using the trolling motor on the boat. We had to use our equipment to utilize the boat. Just incase you plan to use the boat you should bring a trolling motor and battery.
