Fished half day (pm) trip with member Richard Tedder….. man was it HOT!  We fished from noon - 7:45 and definitely had to work for everything we caught. Water was clear @ 95 degrees and wind was definitely calm.  Had 2 good fish at 8.6 and 5.9 with 17 harvest fish.  Nothing in the 2-4 lb. range.

Fish were scattered some shallow and some over 20’.  Used spinner baits, cranks, and zoom plastic.  Meet Don the owner… nice guy gave us a few tips. If was definitely a challenge in that heat…. got out of boat about 5 pm to cool off in truck and temp said 108.  Great lake lots of structure and deep water. Will be back in spring!
