Another fun day on the water at Harrison ranch. On the water 9:30am, air temp was 80s at the start, mostly sunny, little to no wind and extremely humid made it really uncomfortable. Lake is full with tea colored water, no emerging vegetation and water temp was low 80s. Started on the southwest pocket shallows throwing t-rig senko no takers, continued covering the shallows towards front of the house and rotating t-rig/chatterbait/swimbait/top water no takers. Tried throwing t-rig in 6-7ft of water and got couple 2 pounder, then nothing. Moved out to 6-7ft of water when I got to the fence front of the house and tried lipless then BAM! had a flurry caught at least 6 fish, moved over to the opposite side(north) and stayed in 6-7ft of water had another flurry of at least 6 fish on lipless. Continued covering north side 6-7ft of water towards the Dam and caught few more. Went back to the south side and cover the 6-7ft of water towards the Dam and continued catching on lipless. Took a break 2pm and thought of packing it up as it was in the 90s and had already 22 fish. Decided to go back on the water 3pm and planned to stay for another hour, went counter clockwise from the launch area covering 5-6ft of water around the narrow east side of the lake with lipless and luckily by 4pm the cloud cover showed up, ended up staying until 6pm. Caught 37 mostly 1-2.5lb and about half a dozen less than a pound.
