Partner and I fished 6:30AM – 4PM.  Caught 21, harvested 16, largest 3.5lbs.  Caught a few on frogs, best baits were plastics, green varieties.  Lots of grass.  Most caught off the grass edges. Visibility 24 inches, water mostly clear. Decided at last minute not to take my boat. When PFW recommends “at least” a 50 lb thrust trolling motor, they know what they’re talking about.  My 45 was no match for the pontoon, grass, and the wind.  We were only able to fish the west side banks (boat launch side) as the motor wouldn’t hold us going into the wind.  Majority of fish were 14-15 inches and they do put up a fight.
