We arrived at Hat and Star around 6:30 am with stained water from the rain. The weather was blue bird skies with temps starting mid 60’s and got to 87. 
 

we only caught 13 but the morning started with a 7 and a 5.50 on the A-rig. We managed to cull 6 and returned 7. It took the tackle box to catch those bass today. We caught more using swimbaits then we did on craws, worms, spinner bait, chatter bait, crank bait, jerk baits.
 

The morning was the most productive and only 2 were caught in the PM. Thanks again to the land owner and PWF for a great property.
