Cassidy Farms was a really tough fish today. A little steady rain upon arrival that quit while unloading. Wind was calm but blew to 15 mostly the rest of the day. Lake appears near full but water clarity was muddy and as previously reported, the grass is everywhere except the middle of lake. The fish bite was very slow from the get go. Little response to a variety of baits from plastics to topwater. We managed to catch 32 LMB, all healthy and strong battles from each. Most were in the 2 to 4 pound range. History catches at this site have been high and frequent, not sure what was happening today but we enjoyed our outing and look forward to the next chance to circle back.
