Moonshine, what can I say. Outstanding lake. 

water temp 70-75, vis 18” and kinda tea colored 

Sat in one spot all morning (I had a flat tire I had to take to town for repair so I had that to deal with). Caught 21 from that area (really didn't move, just adjusted to the wind). No culls. All fish 2 ½ and got better. 6 3-4’s, a 5lb 5oz. Lost both my favorite chatters, one a fish broke off (retie often folks, bony mouths and large teeth in these fish). Tried my white one with no takers. No shad or crappie in this lake I believe. Finally used a black n blue with a mismatched trailer, caught a couple fish then they shut down. After lunch I returned to spot and nada. Caught 6 after lunch, 4 culls and a couple 21/2’s. Did get one large red ear bigger than my hand at earlier spot late afternoon. Lost a good fish as big or better on my run down the dam before I loaded up.

Thanks to PWF and the Cody’s for such wonderful opportunities on their fabulous ranch. Be careful going in the cows like to hang on or by the road a lot overnight.
