My son and I fished Post Oak lake as our first trip with Private Water fishing. We fished the afternoon of the 13th and morning of the 14th.  On the 13th we were uncertain if we could get on the lake but the thunderstorms skirted south of us. We fished for 6 hours from the pontoon boat and caught 8 bass over 14 inches in the 2 to 3 pound range. All the fish were caught along the shore near the reeds. We tried multiple lures but the fish were only interested in the red and green crawfish and yellow spinner baits. We cullled nine bass, as we were cleaning the culled fish the two feeders went off near us at 7:01 pm and the water erupted!

The next morning it was foggy and fishing was slow. The feeders went off at 8:01am but appeared to be only small fish feeding and not interested in lures   We caught one fish over 14 inches on a purple and gold lizard. Had multiple hits on the crawfish but could not set a hook in them.

Enjoyed our trip and our stay in the cabin. Will definitely try here again!
