My wife and I had a blast at Cullpepper farms.  The bites were plentiful, but almost all undersized.   The main goal today was to get my wife on some bass, and we absolutely met the goal.  The water was VERY muddy like chocolate milk from all the rain, but we made out just fine. Most of the action for us came on spinning rods running 10lb braid and a 8lb leader and by downsizing, we had a blast with the smaller fare for the day. The bluegill / Sunfish population is extremely healthy in the lake and she had a blast catching them. Almost all of the action came around the islands and we caught a few cranking the deeper areas near the damn.   Had the water not been so dirty from the recent downpours, I think we would have easily seen a 50 catch day.    We will absolutely be back to cull pepper farms to have more fun with the light gear!
