Partly cloudy skies, very warm, 88, light winds.
Started at noon, wrapped up at 5.
Water was dirty and 78, level very full. Some hydrilla, Lilly pads and water hyacinth emerging.
Active fish were shallow and willing to attack a gold Bagley Bang O Lure twitched and danced overhead for the first couple of hours. Then I made a change to a Zoom Trick worm, fished wacky. Even better. Caught a few on a Scum Frog.

Thanks for the good report Dale, Kickapoo hasn’t seen many reservations this year, but it is a great fishery, hopefully some more members will make it out there. It was reported to us there was a glitch for some members that were trying to book it, said it was closed for duck season; we have fixed that so hopefully that will help as well.
