Good way to end the week with a short outing to the lake with PWF member Brad.  Arrived about 2 PM.  Water level was high and was really flowing strong over the overflow.  The most turbid water (not quite muddy) we have seen there.  Warm weather but cooled off quickly as the skies filled with rain clouds.  Smelled like rain was coming but no rain came though.  Started off fishing the west bank.  Caught the first bass, a stocky fighter, on a black wacky rigged senko.  Caught most of the fish on topwater in the short grass that would normally be either too shallow or out of the water on the west side.  Biggest was caught on a ribbet frog in that same area.  Ended up boating 13 bass.  Lost or missed maybe another half dozen when fishing the topwater frogs.  Left about 7 PM.
