It was a steady day of catching 3-4 pounders with plenty of unders.  You need to be proficient in punching the grass beds along the shore and on the North Side main lake.  ¾ ounce weight with a beaver style bait did the trick.  Caught a few on the Horney toad early.  Looking for bigger fish but did not locate any.  The 3-4 pounders were short and fat.  Most of the fish were around 17”.  Again, not what I was looking for but still a fun day.  Cool Lake, especially the center pond.

I wittnessed some fox activity as well as plenty of Waterfowl –
