Heavy rains on Sunday mucked up the lake….milky water. Slime was a challenge. Best results...using cranks in open water around weed beds. Pontoon boat worked well once I got a hang of it…..glad I brougt 2 motors...used both at the same time. Good idea to bring three batteries and charger if fishing all day. FYI...boat has charged battery on it in a compartment…..found that out “after” I wore out paddling when battery gave out. MANY thanks to Scott (PWF) and Mike Hamilton getting me back on track. MIke was readily available and was there when we started to get us going. Every fish I cleaned (13) had eaten a crawfish. I look forward to going again when the water gets back to normal. Also caught 2 huge perch.
