Beautiful property.  Fished Red Lake from 8AM – 2PM. Lake received a lot of rain over the weekend which had the water muddy with one foot visibility. (And probably affected the fishing.) Caught around 15, removed 6. Most fish were caught dragging weightless baby shad senko or pumpkin fluke over the weeds and around the lily pads in 5’-8’ water.  These fish are fighters and most put on an arial display, which, on several occassions resulted in a spit out hook and laughingly look.  Largest was 3lbs.  Visited several times with the owner, Winfred Tubbs.  He is putting a lot of money and effort in his lakes and wants to make sure everyone has a great fishing experience. Will definitely return.  Don’t forget to stop at Sam’s in Fairfield and pick-up a couple loafs of homemade bread.
