We had a blast on a cloudy day with winds that came up in the afternoon. The bass were close to the shore hugging the grass and reeds, and they were hungry. We fished for about six hours and caught all sizes. This appears to be a well-managed lake with very healthy fish. There are huge carp and weeds are not a hindrance. The three biggest bass weighed 4.34, 4.57 and 4.73. The lake is full, and a load of threadfin were dumped in on the 23^rd. 
We stayed in the cabin and were very happy with it – very convenient. We met and visited with the owners and can say that they are wonderful people. I highly recommend this lake.
