Fished 3 hrs. with a good buddy at Twin Oaks the morning of April 23.  Overcast, winds about 10 mph, and temps in the 60’s.  As usual at this property, most of the 20 fish caught were 2–3 lbs., healthy and strong.  We caught a few more dinks than normal this time (5), but the other 15 more than made up for it.  Caught a few on a frog up in the shallow end, and the rest we caught on wacky worms all over the lake.  The water is up to normal level, and the vegetation is pretty thick about 2 -3 ft below the surface.  So anything that’s not topwater or weedless is somewhat tough to fish with.  It was a great day to be out at a great property.  We really enjoyed it.
