Was on the lake at daybreak and fished until 10 a.m. The bass were feeding heavily on baitfish in the SW corner of the lake but I could not get them to hit anything.  I caught 5 crappie greater than 14” on shallow running crankbaits in the middle of the lake.  Trolled with deep diving crankbaits but had no luck.  Worked the shoreline with zara spooks with no luck.  I switched to Livetarget frogs and caught two bass in the 17 ” range. The water level was down at least 2 feet since my last trip in early June.  This is a great spot and easy to access.
