Another beautiful spring day on the water, air temp was sunny 60s to mid 70s with wind 5-10mph. Pushed off the club boat at 10am, water level was high and turbid. The grass around the perimeter are starting to take over but still manageable. Started at the pocket left of the ramp with usual rotation moving baits and stationary. Not much activity on moving baits but caught few in the first hour on white rage swimmer(stationary) throwing it around grass pockets close to the banks, fish pick it up once I twitch it after letting it sit. Tried the west side and no takers then took a launch break. Tried again the pocket left of the ramp after break and caught few more. Head out to the east side and given the little activity on moving baits, decided to fish slow targeting grass holes and grass pockets close to the banks, most fish were caught with this technique using white rage swimmer stationary. Chatterbait and lipless caught few in the east side but not consistent. Caught 14 mostly 2.5-3.5lb and couple culled.
