My son and I were able to do a quick AM trip to Ladonia.

We caught 15, returning 2 (others are in the freezer). Almost everything was caught on some sort of soft plastic (wacky Trick worm, weightless Senko, weighted speed worm). Watermelon red and junebug were equally successful. I did get 1 on a jig as well.

The submerged vegetation has grown significantly over the last few weeks, making most moving baits difficult to fish from the bank. 
The wind began picking up and gusting hard by mid-morning, so that made us have to be selective about where we fished.

Overall, it was a great day to share with my son.
