Fished with another member Thursday afternoon. Planned to start a bit after noon but a 2 ½ hr traffic delay on I 30 just before Greenville moved our starting time to 3 pm. This was just a normal construction delay. 

The lake has a tea color stain with 12” visibility and the vegetation is a problem requiring weightless or very light weights. We caught 40 bass with 15 under 14” that were removed. The largest was 2 ½ lbs.We used dark color plactics blue,dark green,black & dark pimpkin throwing  5” Yum Dingers,lizards and creature baits. Tried a ned rig and a weighted craw to work the bottom and nothing but grass.

Fish were located mostly on the dam side of the lake and the little island across from the dock but could be found everywhere
