Booked a full day at Triple J. Started at daylight lake is at maxium level and water looks like chocolate milk there is some snot grass to contend with up close to the bank, but not really a big issue water temp is 65. I tried all of my favorite lures and technics but never really found the bass so i rigged up for crappie and thats when i started catching them. Small spinnerbait type lures and road runners is what worked. I caught bass up to 2.5lb on ultralight tackle which made it really fun. The two crappie i caught both weighed 1.5lbs. I cut out a bit early this trip because i was tired of the wind beating on me in my little boat. This is a great lake and i have had many successful trips here in the past. Also another person showed up and was fishing from the bank not sure if it was the land owner or not
