Only have had a battery go dead two times and both have been at Riley Lake.  Oh well, got some upper body in by paddling around most of the day.  

Water was dingy with about 12” clarity.  Not muddy but stained.  Not able to see any beds. Couple of new and very large trees have fallen in the lake on the upper end and should be good cover in the future. Water was running over spillway and witihn 3-4” of the bottom of the dock at the house.

Caught two right of the bat on an underspin, one in less than a foot of water and the second in about 4-5 foot.  Luckily the wind was not a major problem since no trolling motor but had to work for the ones I did catch.  

All in all still enjoy this lake with all of the non-fishing experiences to be had.
