Lures Used : Top water popper, senko, worm
Arrived at the lake right at sunrise. 41 degrees with a slight breeze. Caught a small Crappie off of the dock on a top water popper. Caught two LMB along the south bank by the brush pile. That was it. A couple of other bites but no takers. Warmed up a little as the sun came up but still very cold. Still had a good time.

When I go to PG I expect nothing as I was skunked on my 1st trip there as a PWF member. I was also cocky. Hadn't been skunked anywhere in decades. Two years ago January had one of the best fishing days I ever had. 32lb bag. Love that lake as it can be challenging. Big fish swim there. Patience and persistence is the key there.
