Probably would have been twice as many fish if I had started with the spinnerbait. Instead I started with a fly rod for the first 2.5 hours without any success. Switched to regular tackle and caught all 7 on the same spinnerbait in the next 2 hours. All fish were good sized with the smallest two being so close to 14” that I decided to return them (nothing to measure them with). Really enjoyed this spot, no noise except wind, sheep, cows and a distant wind chime. Very relaxing morning for a mid-week trip.

How was water clarity, I went out there a couple of weeks before and it was super muddy

Travis-sorry it took so long to reply. Water clarity was good overall. i wouldn’t say it was crystal clear over the entire lake, but it was good especially on the side where the wind wasn’t blowing. Looked like the wind was pushing the sediment on the far side and the leeward side was clearer.
