My first trip to the Tear Drop Lakes and it did not disapoint. Fished the afternoon, just when the wind begin gusting to over 20 and decided that the boat was not an option. The upper and middle lakes were whitecapping near the dam. My 1^st cast off the dock with a red senko produced a chunky fighter about 3 lbs. Hung in at the middle lake catching 4 more ( all were 2.5 to 3 lbs). Moved to the lower lake and caught 6 there on a red rattletrap, all over 2 lbs. Ended up on the upper lake pounding the dock side bank and dam catching 10 on the rattletrap up to to 4½ lbs. Looking forward to getting the boat on the water and working the entire lake. Every fish caught was healthy and full of fight. I caught only one dink all afternoon, wind or not I sure enjoyed the trip.
