My brother John and I were in the water by 8am, the day started off overcast & foggy, but the clouds cleared by 9 or so.  The lake is down a foot or so, but it fished really well and the waer clarity is great.  We started on the south end and began catching fish on spinnerbaits around structure in 1-3 ft of water. We trolled to the north end once the sun was higher and were getting spinner bait bites up and down the whole north shore – again, mostly around cover.  We finished the morning with 30 fish, 24 of those under the slot.  

We had shore lunch and went back in to fish from 1-6pm, chatter baits in lighter colors got us back into the action – but then the clouds moved in and fishing slowed down until 4pm or so when it started peeking out again.  The bite picked back up, we finished the finished our day with a 4-pounder and a 5-pounder as we wrapped up our 4^th trip around the lake.

Overall great day, great fellowship, beautiful weather, lots of bites & more good memories.  The lake was a little stingy on the big fish, though, and we’re going to have to come back soon and figure that out!
