Left early and hit water just after 7:00 am. Was 37 degrees when we started and no wind. Suprised this lake is still about 3 foot low. Fish were on the minute we got on water. You hardly knew you had them on so had to really watch the line. Caught fish all morning on plastics. In one stretch of about 100 yards on the east side caught 8-9 on square bill, but they wouldnt hit it anywhere else. Only 2 dinks and the rest were 2.5 and over. Several 3 and 4 pounders, one 5 pounder, one 6 pounder and a my 12 year olds new personal best 9.8 pounder. I got the photo with fish and the photo doesnt do it any justice, but it was a good one. 38 fish in all caught up to 2:30 pm, for a great day.
