Arrived at Bluebonnet Ridge on a nice upper 50s air temp and clear sky with mild wind from the northwest, and quickly noticed the vegetation has taken over majority of the lake. Water temp was in the 60s,  thought this warming weather might keep the fish active so launch the club boat then saw the water was really turbid as the previous report pointed out, another addition to the challenge, but I know there are nice fish in this lake, just a matter of getting them to play. I mainly fished the channel from the mouth of the creek all the way to the deeper area which was easy to spot given the layout of the emerging vegetation. Getting the club boat to the open water was tricky with the 10-15 yards of thick emerging grass which I have to paddle through, my weedless prop can’t handle it, with 55lb trolling motor. Caught only 8 upto 4lb, still satisfied given the challenging condition.
