Property Name : Travis Lake
Reservation Date : 02/24/2024 AM -
Total Fish/Sizes : 26-1.5-2.5, 9 under 14 inches
Lures Used : Wacky Warm, Whooper Popper, Underbelly Swimbaits, Lipless Crankbait, Spinner with Claw Trailer

Arrived at the property at 6:45. Absolutely the perfect day. Sunrise was wonderful, no wind and total glass on the lake, amazing property. I started using a Whooper Popper and had some good hits but 20-30 mins after I started, the top water action stopped. I started with everything I listed above and had a little success.  Most action came from the south side across from the dock. All the fish seemed like 10 ft from the bank. Once I changed to the blue skit spinner with the craw trailer, I had a lot of hits. I went to the areas along the fences and along the dam area catching and getting good action. Just as usual, when I was having some fun, a few of my drinking buddies showed up on que...LOL . Looking forward to coming back to this property

Looks like a typical day there. Good work.

Black n blue do really well there. I see you met Joe and Joe, there I think are 6-7 more there. The cows are friendly as well. If they are there I eat lunch with them. Didn't see the friendly dog last time. Post spawn a Ned rig is really good. Across the dock and a little west is really good in front of that tall green grass. There is an underwater plant there as weather warms as well. The white gate to the end of that fence is good also. Post spawn in front of the pump jack is ok.  Lots of 2-2 1/2’ with an occasional 4-5. There are a couple toads in there though. BIG crappie in there too.
I like to fish that lake a couple times a year. It is 20 min from my house.
