Overcast warm weather for February got me out to a new property for me wihc is 40 minute from my house. Surface water temp stated at 62 and rose to 66 later in the day. Water clarity at least 8 feet. There is slimmy grass near the banks which made pounding the banks hard.  My fish finders depth readings we’re on and off all day even after replacing the transducer. Caught two healthy bass that both fought harder then their weight class, one 2 lber and a 4 lber on a senko. I didn’t feel the bump when they pick it up but saw my line move on both of them –cold water bite. Lost one other on bad hook set. Saw only one or two fish in the trees in the middle of the property.
