We had a great outing at Twin Oaks, especially for a February day.  Fished from noon to 3:00, and caught 20 bass.  I’ve rarely caught any little fish in this pond, but caught 3 dinks today on a swim bait.  Caught fish just about everywhere except close to the bank.  Four baits worked – rattetrap, TR worm, swim bait, chatter bait.  Two didn’t work – crank bait and topwater (frog).  Lake is full and fish are healthy.  One had a ratty tail as evidence of building a nest, but the rest did not.  Although several fat ones looked like they had eggs.
