Booked an all day trip. Got on the lake at 9:30 and fished until 5. This is a very clear lake vis was about 5-6 foot  in the shallow end and around the shore line there is places of heavy weeds but easily avoidable. The wind was absolutely relentless at times and my anchor was no match for it, but i pushed on and it paid off. I tried several lures and presentations but the only thing that worked was junebug colored craw and most of them were caught in 2-6 feet around the bank. I caught mostly culls, but the largest was 17 inches. For some reason i can never seem to locate the crappie or get them to bite here. If anyone has a suggestion on finding them please let me know.The road getting to the lake is a little bumby, but not a problem.
