Kind of a grind today, but always a great place to visit. Picked up three in a row right at dawn off the bank, then dropped in the bass raider and worked the damn side, the middle points, and of course to the trees which are 70% out of the water and on dry land now.  it was a little chilly so the only tree lines we could get back to were 2 1/2 feet maximum depth and I knew they wouldn't be that shallow. (It was early and 38 degrees or so) so went back in the channel on the dam side by the fence line (where the shallow water drops quickly to the deeper humps) and found some hanging on the slope. that was it but it was a beautiful foggy morning that turned into a nice day. Usually good for a 5-6 pounder every trip but not today. Oh well,  we will hammer them next time- Beats working any day!
