Weather turned out to be nice so we booked the afternoon trip to Sandy Creek. After a slow start, we found the crappie and then it quickly stopped. We worked around the perimeter a few times with three ranging 4 to 4.5 lbs. We ended with 7 crappie and 7 bass under the 16” culled. The lure that worked was only the beaver style craw today in watermelon red flake. We tried many other lures throughout the day but the craw was it today. Thanks again to the land owner and PWF.
