The plan was to spend some time with my dad. Mission accomplished on that. 

I admittedly had high expectations going into this trip based on previous personal success and recent reports. Today was not our day for catching. After getting a later than desired start and some technical difficulties with the boat, we did try everything possible to get fish to bite. It was not meant to be on this bluebird day.

I did land 1 within the first hour of arrival. It was right at 16” and hit a lipless crankbait. Needing to get home, we decided to call it a day early afternoon. Before leaving, we drove down to see the other ponds. I had never put eyes on them before and wanted to see what the bank access looked like. I foresee a trip in the near future with focus on #3.

This a great property, and I look forward to many returns.  Today I got to spend time with my aging dad, and that made it worth every minute. I am appreciative to the property owners and PWF for that.
