Fishing is therapy.  I had Saturday afternoon out at Grain Bin and it took me a bit to figure it out.  Mostly because I was rushing and wanting to fall fish-moving baits, top water ….but just needed to take a deep breath and slow down.  I reluctantly put on a shaky head with a zoom trick worm and went on a streak like never before.  I positioned the kayak along the grass line, pitched the worm down the side and they were crushing it.  Big fat healthy fish. I never caught the big mommas but certainly very happy to catch a lot of 3-4 pounders. Now there is a ton of weed cover in the lake as it is super low.  In fact several of the areas are unfishable so hopefully we will get some rain soon.  Out in the open water I could throw the crankbait and that was fun.  The 4-6 footer worked the best and they were inhaling it when I could find them.  Thanks PWF and land owner.
