Got on the water at daylight and stayed until 4. Water level seems to be around 5-6 feet low and very muddy and murkey surface temp was 67.This lake has a sandy bottom with no grasses of any kind.

I started out trying to locate the bass and crappie but struck out on both threw a varitey of baits. This lake is mainly very shallow with only a section on the dam side with anything over 8-9 feet. I had been studying previous reports about how great the catfishing is so i came prepared with liver and punchbait. I parked the boat and set up on the pier and rigged up to try my luck at the cats. Within a minute or two the fight was on!! I caught around 20 cats ranging from 1 to 10lbs most were in the three lb range. I culled 10 and will be frying them up soon. This lake is full of healthy catfish it made for an exciting day on club waters
