Left out at 5:00 am to make the trip to Neches. Arrived at location and went to put 18’ bass boat in. The “boat ramp” is just gravel and dirt piled on the bank and does not go into the water at all. Of course at daybreak we could not tell that and went to put boat in the water. As soon as the trailer tires met the water they dropped off and the trailer bottomed out. Thankfully truck is 4wd or we would have been stuck. Left and went to Lake Palestine.
Boat ramp MIGHT be useable to launch a canoe, but this location should not show up as usable for anything larger. Extreme disappointment.

Hi Justin,
Im sorry the boat ramp was a big disappointment. That is extremely frustrating. Scott has called you and left a message to help resolve. Please call us back when you have a minute. The boat ramp is brand new and looks good in photos. My guess, but I don’t know, is that has not had enough weight on it push the rock down and with the water level 2 feet low it was not made long enough. We have messages into the other folks who have fished here to learn more about the ramp. We have not heard back from them..yet.
Again, our sincere apology for a disappointing experience.
