It was a great afternoon to be on the water. Mike and I fished from noon to 6:45.  There was a light wind out of the north and I actually wore a light jacket when we first got on the lake.  Water temps was 68 when we started and got up to 72 later in the aftennon.  Water clarity was 6”.  Lake level down about 3’ as best I could tell.  We caught 27 fish.  The biggest 5 went 6 lbs. 5.25, 5, 4.24 & 4.  Plus one 2 lb crappie. Most were caught out in the middle in the deeper water 7’ – 10’.  A chatterbait worked well.  A couple of the bigger fish were caught on a ned rig.  And later in the afternoon, slow rolling a big spinner bait caught several. This is a terrific lake with lots of water to fish.  This is a lake we have fished a number of times this year and will come back to.
