Jim Collins, my son and I fished Bremmond for the first time on October 6, 2023.  Temperatures in the mid-80’s with a 5 to 10 MPH wind most of the day.  The water was clear with a good bit of submerged seaweed in some of the more shallow areas of the lake.   We caught 17 bass total with 5 cauled.  The remainder were 2 to 4 pounds.  The bite was generally very light.  The majority of the fish were caught near the trees; fishing off our Kayaks.  Best success was with plastic worms / senkos.  Shades of red seemed to work best.  The fish were all healthy and some of the larger ones put up a good fight; especially as they neared the kayak.  We lost 4 or 5 nice ones in the process.  Later in the afternoon, we were greeted by 3 playful dogs.  A few of them even took a swim out to Jimmy’s kayak to say hi!   

Overall, it was a fun day at a very nice property.
